This Privacy Policy describes how ConvoAds, Inc. ("ConvoAds," "we," "us") processes information in connection with our advertising platform, including ad serving, measurement, fraud prevention, and settlement.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to (a) business users (Advertisers and Publishers) using our Services and (b) end users who may receive ads delivered through ConvoAds on Publisher Properties, to the extent ConvoAds processes information about them.

2. Information We Process

A. Business account information

  • Names and business contact details.
  • Authentication and account access information.
  • Billing and tax information as needed for settlement.
  • Customer support communications.

B. Advertising, device, and event information

Depending on integrations and settings, ConvoAds may process:

  • IP address and user agent.
  • Cookie identifiers and/or mobile advertising identifiers (where applicable).
  • Approximate location derived from IP address.
  • Ad request metadata (timestamp, placement, domain/app, content/context signals).
  • Ad events such as impressions, clicks, and conversions (where enabled).
  • Fraud and quality signals used to detect and prevent invalid traffic.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to provide ad delivery (including interest-based advertising where enabled), measurement and reporting, fraud and invalid traffic prevention, billing and publisher settlement, security, troubleshooting, service improvement, and legal compliance.

4. Cookies, Identifiers, and IAB TCF Support (Where Applicable)

We and our partners may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, and similar technologies for ad delivery, measurement, frequency management, and fraud prevention. Where required, we rely on valid consent or permissions obtained by Publishers and/or consent management platforms.

Where applicable, ConvoAds supports the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF). Publishers that implement TCF are responsible for collecting and passing valid consent signals and for appropriately disclosing ConvoAds as required.

5. Sharing of Information

We may share information with:

  • Publishers for reporting, inventory controls, and settlement.
  • Advertisers and buying platforms for campaign delivery, measurement, and billing.
  • Service providers such as cloud hosting, fraud prevention vendors, analytics providers, and payment providers (including Stripe).
  • Authorities where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

6. Retention

We retain information as needed for service delivery and reporting, fraud and IVT investigations (including supporting an IVT adjustment window of up to 180 days), and accounting and tax obligations. Financial records may be retained longer as required by law.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Rights and Choices

Depending on jurisdiction, individuals may have rights to access, delete, correct, or opt out of certain processing (including certain targeted advertising). Requests may be submitted using the contact information below.

9. International Transfers

Where we transfer information internationally, we use appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law (for example, standard contractual clauses where applicable).

10. Children

Our Services are not intended for child-directed Properties without explicit authorization and required configurations.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the Effective Date above when we make changes.
